The AN-02 RTO serves the Nicobar District, the southernmost district of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Headquartered in Car Nicobar, it manages vehicle registrations, driving license issuances, and transport permits for the entire Nicobar group of islands. The office operates under the State Transport Services (STS) unit of the Union Territory administration.
