AP-16 is the legacy RTO code for Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. The RTO was located in Vijayawada, the former district headquarters of undivided Krishna District. Since February 2019, the state implemented the 'one state-one code' policy where all new vehicles are registered with AP-39/AP-40 series.
